Addie and Landry at the Pumpkin Patch.
Landry getting ready to go to church.
Kolby found this snake.
Addie fell in love with it. She played with it for hours. She begged to keep it as her pet. I said no. She gave it a kiss goodbye when I finally forced her to come inside.
Landry liked the snake as well. He held it for a little bit before he decided to throw it. Landry was not against the snake. He just throws EVERYTHING!

Landry is getting so big!! I love his hair, lots of curl! Addie's hair is cute too. And love how the kids can wear shorts to the pumpkin patch! :)

why I can't imagine why you wouldn't want a snake in the house! So unreasonable ;-).
I love pumkin patches too...we're going to another tomorrow.

Precious kids! Looks like Addie got her hair cut. What a princess. Your kids are growing up so fast!

Snakes!!! Eeeewwwww! Pumpkin patch pictures are just beautiful. You remember up here we have to wait for it not to rain?! Love Landry's curls.

The pumpkin patch was VERY different than Stoneyridge. So it was disappointing to me. The farmer was really nice which redeemed itself a little. Addie is still asking for a pet snake and talking about how much she misses snakey. We have caught two lizards in the basement. Just baby ones. The fun does not stop. Just remember when catching a lizard not to grab it by that tail because it will just tear off and the lizard will get away.

Gross lizard story!

I think that you have either really gotten tough since moving to Utah, or had a complete personality change. I simply cannot picture Jenni Singleton seeing her kids (including 15 month old Landry)playing with a snake, serenely smiling while getting her camera to snap a pic. Yikes! What is going on with you, Jenni? There are some things in life that you think you can depend on and then, WHAM! I just feel a little disillusioned. (And the gross lizard tail tearing off story only adds to my confustion.)

I am actually a lot tougher than I let on. It is all part of the game. OK... it did freak me out a little to have the children playing with the snake. The first time that Landry held the snake, I could only take it so long before I had the kids take it away from him. The snake was harmless. I felt kind of bad for it. It was manhandled really, really, bad.

O.K. so I feel a little better knowing you've found lizards in your basement. :) A couple have gotten in the house and it totally freaks me out. I can't even try to catch them, I let Matt do that. My kids are also in shorts this lovely October, so again, makes me feel better to know someone else feels my pain. It should be snowing according to my calendar. Guess that'll never happen in FL though eh! As for the snake, you are super brave to let your kids play with them. I think we've totally freaked Kai out so he'll never touch one. We kill what we find here, scary stuff! Kids look great! Time's getting closer and we'll be in UT. Can't believe we're actually visiting, I am way excited.
You kind of have to get tougher with all the reptiles around huh! The lizards outside used to just freak me out but now I am happy they eat worse offenders, the cockroaches. :) Fun never ends.

I knew the snake was harmless. At least that is what the neighbor kid said. Maybe I should have investigated that further. My neighbor did find something like a five foot rattle snake in thier drive way. Not harmless. Jean - I CAN'T WAIT to see you. I am counting down the days. It will be so fun!! It just doesn't seem like you to freak Kai out about something. I am glad that I don't have all of your reptiles!!
