We'll just call this the December Post Part I. I have been trying all month to get on and post. It just has not happened. Part I because I can not seem to add any more pictures. The kids are loving the snow. They can't get enough! Landry was a little confused the first day it snowed. We got out of the van and he walked to the edge of the garage. He pointed and asked me what was on the ground. Landry has been a big fan of the fluffy white stuff ever since his first encounter. He loves to put on his snow boots and go outside. This often happens with no coat, permission or supervision. The kids have been very lucky to spend a lot of time sledding.
We love the snow!
Our house decorated for the holiday.
Landry will now only take a nap in his high chair or his car seat. He has caught on to my trick of luring him into his highchair, for a snack in the late afternoon, so that he will fall asleep. Landry will kick and scream and fight me until I get his tray latched and he is locked in.
We enjoyed the annual Children's Parade. It could actually be called the Artic Cat Parade. Every float in our town in pulled by one of these.
The kids had fun seeing a lot of their favorite characters.
They thought this guy was great.
This parade is all about the kids and quite interactive. Our children were feeling the Christmas spirit this day and had to sport the holiday hats.
A new favorite holiday game. Landry plays Santa and the kids sit on his lap and tell him what they want for Christmas. Landry plays the Santa roll well.
Kolby's first piano recital. He did great!

Jenni,
Your pictures are all so fun. Where do they do the parade? That's cool. Your house looks great all decorated. I love the nativity pictures and all the snow pictures as well. My kids are loving it too but it has been a little chilly to play in it (like 9 degrees).
Love Landry pretending to be Santa! That is SO funny! And falling asleep in the high chair!
And Kolby did awesome at his recital!
The parade is on Main Street. It is an annual thing - every December. I hope it warms up a little for your vacation. Just a little. We want you to get all the cold in that you can!
Wow, that was a whole lot of awesomeness!! Kolby is rock awesome on the piano, I'm super proud. I'm jealous of yoru parade, it looked like a lot more fun than the Festival of Lights Parade in Preston. And I want to sit on Landry's lap and have him ask me what I want for Christmas.
I love all of the pics. That is hilarious of Landry being Santa. We can't mention Santa to Ella without her breaking into hysterics. She has developed a phobia.
Kolby is really impressive on the piano! I took piano lessons for most of my growing up years and I am sure he can out play me. Sad.
