NOVEMBER

The Trio of Trouble

November 28th Landry is so cute. He was not happy about me taking his picture. He just wanted to go to bed.

November 24th
Addie is so photogenic. Do you like the groovy
turkey hats that I made all of the kids for
Thanksgiving? They were a hit.

November 24th Landry loves his walker!

November 21rst Landry likes being on the same level as Kolby and Addie. He adores his big brother and big sister.

November 9th Landry and all of his friends from church.

November 7th Addie loves to dress up!

All of the record breaking and crazy weather has finally gotten to me. I am going to cope by creating a blog. Courtney has been encouraging me to create one for months and I am finally going to do it. I am so hip. Look at me jumping on the band wagon. Apparently this is a great way for everyone to keep up with what we are doing. Tyler and the kids are going crazy. All for different reasons. The kids can't take being stuck in the house anymore. Tyler can't take any more winter storm stress. We have all been sick. Kolby and Addie seem to be doing better. My pink eye is starting to improve. It is going away a lot slower than I remember in the past. Tyler and I are starting to get over are sickness. We have spent a lot of time sucking Landry's nose with the bulb syringe.

Tyler has been very busy trying to take care of the winter storm needs of our house and family. He convinced someone clearing another house with a tractor to clear our driveway so we can get out - kind of. The snow drifted back but is not quite as bad. Tyler has been frozen out of his car yesterday and today. We had a pipe freeze last night despite the fact that we left the water going. Tyler spent part of the morning dethawing a pipe underneath the house with a hair dryer. He later used the hair dryer to get into his car. He also spent part of the morning covering the vents on the outside of the house to try and prevent pipes from freezing in the future.

Last night at 1:00 in the morning... Tyler spent a nice amount of time pushing our neighbor out of our drive. It was our neighbor who we had problems with all summer because they are crazy. Maybe he won't think Mormons are so bad anymore. Poor Tyler has also been sleeping on the couch for days so he won't wake Landry with his coughing.

We had four DR appointments that all got cancelled this week. Church was cancelled on Sunday and school was cancelled yesterday and today. I let the kids get the Christmas decorations out today to try and prevent them from going crazy. In Seattle, it took a lot of people something like nine hours to get home from work because the roads turned to ice. It needs to rain so that we can get rid of this snow! Our county got the worst of the storm. Lynden is especially bad. That dang northeaster wind. We have at least a foot of fresh snow and a lot of five foot snow drifts. More is expected. Of course our particular house always gets it the worst. The way our house jets out in front of everybody else the northeaster brings all the drifting to us from our neighbors. It makes us really happy. Amazing flooding, record rain, devastating wind and a terrible winter storm all during the month of November!!! What a fun month for us!!!! I have turned to online shopping in order to deal with it all. I can't get out and Christmas shop so I have to do it from home.

So you can check back any time to see if we have updated what is going on, added pictures, etc. Just add us to your bookmarks.

Have a good day!

Tyler-Jenni-kids: It sounds like you need my 20 horsepower John Deere snowblower. If not, you could probably use my Sportsman 500 Polaris ATV with blade and winch! With your small yards and streets, I'm not sure where you would blow the snow if you had a snow blower!

That is the problem with you softies from the Pacific Northwest, you are so used to mild weather that when it gets tough it causes your entire civilization to shut down!

Tyler - maybe you already have done this, but you can buy foam pipe fitting insulation that fits around your piping. It is super easy to install. I think you can get it at Lowe's or Home Depot.

I think your blog is a great idea.

You have no idea how much we need the snowblower and ATV. The thought went through my mind many times. Today, I heard the pharmacist say that one of his customers went in with the whole neighborhood to buy a snowblower.
