May 2, 2007

I am finally back online! It has been a long month and a half without access to the internet. In fact, it has been a long month and a half. Fortunately, all of the insanity made the time pass quickly. Endulge me while I share a few of the many pictures I have taken during our adventures.

Addie riding Grandpa's four wheeler with Grandpa.

Kolby, Addie, Landry and their cousin Kailey racing to meet their Grandpa and cousin Brinlee who are riding the four wheeler. Kolby and Landry created a new game. Kolby runs as fast as he can down his Grandparents drive way while pushing Landry in the stroller. Landry loves it and kicks and squeals as they do it over and over again.
What is better than sitting in a wooden shoe? The kids will miss this Lynden activity.
Kolby and Landry at the Tulip Festival in Washington. We were glad to be able to see this one more time as we were leaving Washington.
I think this is the first time that Landry ever sat on mother earth.
Tip toeing through the tulips... of course I had to throw that in.
We went to Baby Animal Day in Logan with all of the Taggart sisters and our nephew Trayson. The kids were able to hold many different baby animals. They also rode in a wagon (see above), a handcart and a pony. It was interesting to see the sheep get sheared but Kolby was most fascinated by the Pony Express rider who took out a couple of kids and the Dad who fell trying to save his child. It was quite scary. Luckily, the kids who were hit did not seem to have any obvious injuries.
Kolby and Addie throwing rocks in Bellingham.
Of course we will miss this!
Kolby and Addie on the pier in Bellingham.
Lexi, Addie and Amanda are three very cute girls! Addie really misses her friends.
Addie and Amanda popping popcorn during their sleepover. They pulled a fast one on me that night. I finally got them in bed at about 10:30. While I was waiting for them to fall asleep I fell asleep. I woke up at about 12:00 and they had the lights on and were up playing!
This pic just had to be posted. You will all have to agree that is a great picture of the Price girls.
This is our new, new house in Cedar City. It is a very long story. Anyways... we are happy we ended up in this house instead of the house we thought that we were going to buy. We finally got our basement. Yeah! Kolby does not think that the houses in Cedar City are colorful enough. Most of the houses are in the brown family. He is used to the array of house colors in Lynden.
This is the master bathroom. The people who built this house really like the marble look. We have not yet determined if it is real marble or tile made to look like marble. Anyways... there is plenty of it! I am looking for tips on how to decorate with marble. As my neighbor put it, "You may have some decorating challenges." So send your suggestions this way.

We currently have a great view - that is until they build a house behind us.
The bonus room above the garage.
The kitchen and dining room.
I will have to learn to be a better housekeeper now that the kitchen joins the living room.

WOW! Lots of good pics! That one of me & the girls is funny :) Especially Brins, what's up with that? :)

Your new house looks great! I think I like it better than the other one... that's funny about the brown houses though, because when you look at all the brown in the landscape, it could use a few green, blue, and maybe even aqua (like that house on my street) houses!

Keep the pics coming! We've all missed you guys! There was a Primary activity on Saturday, we missed it, but I'm sure all the kids under 7 were at a loss for what they should do since their pied piper is gone! "Should we run in circles? Should we be superheroes? Should we just do laps around the church? Can't decide!"

Wow! What an adventure you guys have had! I am sorry for you about all of the stress with your house, but it looks like it has worked out for the best! That whole experience sounds like something that would happen to us...
We miss you and are glad that you have moved so much closer to us! :)

Hi Jenny,

Lynden sure does miss the Singleton family. Looks like everyone is doing great despite your house adventure. It looks like a great place and you'll decorate it in your usual awesome style.

Miss my Landry "playtime" during church. Primary isn't the same without Addie and Colby. They are greatly missed as are you and Tyler.

Lydia...we are glad to be in our house. We closed on Thursday and the plan is for the owners to close tomorow. Courtney...unfortunately only a priviledged few get the chance to live so close to an aqua house. You are special. Jennifer...what happened to us does sound like something that would happen to you. That is what is so scary about it!! Amy...I don't quite know how to take care of Landry in Relief Society without your help. He is out of control.
