Kolby and Addie have been taking swimming lessons for the last two weeks. They started their second two week session today. Addie was able to overcome her fear of swimming that she developed after almost drowning in the Homestead pool in Lynden. Does anyone know if they fired that awful life guard yet? I tried and I know others who tried to make it happen. You know the one that eats, does her homework and uses her cell phone while supposedly guarding the pool. She loved her teacher and that made it possible for her to start to swim. Addie loved her teacher so much that when she was put with a different teacher for the second session she was hysterical. Luckily, the pool manager sympathized with her and is going to let her go back to her old teacher for this set of lessons.

Kolby is considering taking a jump off the high dive tomorrow. We will see if he can muster up the courage.

Landry likes to sleep on top of his blankets. I don't know what he did with his other sock.

I think that lifegaurd was on duty one night we were there...she was knitting.
Sounds like the lessons are going well! Landry looks so big, all stretched out in his crib! So cute.
Yikes! On that lifeguard. I will have to ask Rob about that one. He's the one that usually takes the kids to the pool.
And my Landry is getting SO big!
Would you be referring to the life-guard that was on duty when Addie was taking swimming lessons and you had to jump in the pool fully clothed and eight months pregnant to save you child? Hopefully the new teacher is a little more attentive!
Landry is huge! And his hair is getting so light!
Did Kolby end up taking the plunge? I still haven't mustered up the courage to attempt the high dive. Go Kolby!
Yes - that is the life guard that I am referring to. Kolby did go off of the high dive the next day. Very unexpected. The swim lessons we are currently taking are very safe. They assign a life guard to each class in addition to the teacher.
Landry is SUCH a pretty baby!
He is very pretty. Very funny and very crazy as well.
I love Landry's Calvin Klein PJs-very cute!
I can't believe that life guard still has a job after Jenni got through with her...Holy cow I would just of freaked... I'm glad Addie is enjoying her lessons with her new teacher.
I also wanted you to know that you guys were missed at the Temple as well : ( We will have to go with you guys sometime on a visit : ) I will be in SLC or Provo rather in a few weeks how far is that from where you live? I so don't know my way around Utah, I haven't been there since I was 14! YIKES!
This picture reminds me of Tyler, I used to come into his office and he would be out cold on the floor snuggling a pop can to his face with his belly pocking out.
giggle, giggle... it does look a lot like Tyler
