We really enjoyed our trip to Washington last weekend. It was so fun to see our friends and enjoy a little of what Washington has to offer.

We spent a night at Semiahmoo. The city behind Tyler is White Rock, British Columbia. Semiahmoo resort is in Washington about thirty minutes west of where we used to live.
Addie could not wait to spend time with her good friend Amanda. Addie has really missed Washington and was thrilled that we got to go and visit. However, she thought the trip was far too short. When we were landing in Bellingham she started to cry. Kolby asked her what was wrong. She told him that sometimes when you are really happy to see someone you cry happy tears. We really want Landry and Charlotte to be good friends but they are not quite ready for that. They were born just a couple of weeks apart.
Landry loved being able to throw rocks into the ocean. This is him examining a rock in preparation to throw it.
You have to do some searching to find just the right rock to throw.

Semiahmoo had so many pretty rocks! I was in awe of all of the colors and textures.
We enjoyed swimming at the resort. I think this might count as Landry's first real swim. He loved hanging on to the kick board as I floated him around the pool.
Kolby had his first trip to the steam room and sauna. He was not impressed.
We stopped at Semiahmoo "park" after our stay at Semihamoo resort. Thanks for smiling so nice Kolby!

Kolby was a great helper as we waited for our rental car for over a hour. He ran Landry around in the stroller at the airport. Kolby kept going and going so that Landry would be good. May I suggest not using Enterprise when renting a car. The arrows are pointing out Tyler and Kolby. They enjoyed a fun game of frisbee.
