What a month. September has seemed quite long. I am tired. These kids are wearing me out. It seems appropriate to get a post in before the month ends. Let's call it our month in review.
Kolby has been playing a lot of football.
We enjoyed the annual
Skyfest from the comfort of our own deck.
It is so fun to watch all of the hot air balloons.
Landry enjoys school but it makes him very tired. He tells us all of the time how tired he is. Landry is quick to tell us how he can't do this or that because he is tired. It is his excuse to not do anything that he does not want to do.
Addie celebrated her birthday.
She was honored at school for her birthday.
This is at the end of Addie's birthday party when the girls decided to make confetti out of the wrapping paper and throw it over and over. It was really fun to clean up.
Addie is very lucky to have so many great friends in our neighborhood.
Addie had a tea party for her birthday party.
It was a lot of fun!
The girls had a blast eating and playing.
They decorated crowns to wear to the tea party. The girls also picked out a dress to wear.
A couple of days before Addie's birthday we celebrated as a family.
The kids were excited to go to Maggie Moos for ice cream.
They needed a good snack after our big bike ride.
It was a great way to celebrate Addie.
It wore everyone out.
We tried out a great trail.
The scenery was amazing.
It was so fun!
We can't wait to do it again.

Can't believe Addie is 7 already, seems like yesterday you were in my sitting room in Providence with her as a newborn and I was expecting Kai. Where does time go? We've both traveled many miles since then! Landry sounds like kaden, except instead of being too tired there's always something wrong with him, "I have a cramp, my tummy hurts", this or that when he doesn't want to do something. He also loves riding in the bike trailer.
1) Are you now including a picture of yourself at the beginning of every post so that Tyler remembers what you look like?

What great pics! It looks like it has been a really fun month! (Although I AM bothered that Kolby is to be trusted with a pocketknife... I'm still picturing him as a kindergartner.)
How many days does Landry have school? You lucky dog.
Landry has school two days a week and it is glorious. He rides the bus so it is actually for a decent amount of time. I don't think Kolby should have a pocketknife yet. Obviously, I lost that battle.
