June 16, 2010

The month of May was busy. Honestly.... June really has not slowed down any. This picture was taken on Mother's Day with my Mom and sisters. It was a nice Mother's Day celebration. We were lucky that everyone was in town at once.
All of the Taggart cousins.
I was also able to celebrate my birthday with my entire family. With a sister in Texas and a sister in California we have not been all together for a very long time. We had a fiesta for my Cinco De Mayo birthday.
I love to play with my nephew Evan. It is so sad that he lives in California and we don't get to see him more often.
Tyler's Grandma took us to dinner for my birthday.
Thank you Grammy!
Addie and I loved our girls night while the boys were at the Father and Son camp out.
Things did not go well for the boys for the second year in a row. This picture was taken at about 2:00 in the morning on the ride home. The tent collapsed on them in the wind and the rain.
Landry was not as affected by the ordeal as Kolby was. He mostly slept through it. Last year, Landry got sick in the middle of the night and they had to come home.
Here they are earlier in the evening before the wind and the rain.
We have enjoyed getting outside in the good weather.
We have gone on a couple of fun hikes.
This was a nice sunset hike.
The kids have been anxious to get to the children's museum since we moved.
Addie has a little farmer in her.
She liked pretending to be a cowgirl.
It is always exciting to play school.
... or act like an animal from a favorite story.
Kolby tested his facts about the State of Utah that he learned in school.
Addie and Trayson took a trip on a boat.
Just call him Mr. President.
May brought with it baseball season. Addie has been a great little baseball player.
Kolby has improved a lot this year and has been fun to watch.
Landry celebrated his school birthday and was voted the snack king because of the selection of birthday treats he brought for his class. He planned carefully and insisted on fruit snacks, fish crackers and Trix yogurt.
The end of school brought school programs and field trips.
We can't forget crazy hair day!

Can I just say, you always have great dresses?

Also, I enjoyed the camping story :) Sounds like when I was telling the girls today that IF we go on grandpa's boat for fireworks this year, there will be no pooping, peeing, or puking... all of which happened last time, putting a real damper on the festivities :)

Father and Sons seems to be cursed the world over. It never goes well.

Also, you are beautiful.

Cute picture of you, your sisters and your mom. Bummer on the father/son outing. I LOVED the time I spent alone this year when Matt took the boys. It wasn't long enough. :)
Very cool you got to celebrate your birthday with the whole family. I can't tell you the last time that happened to me!

HA! As soon as I saw "Father and Sons" I thought to myself, Oh please bless it went better than last year. Sorry! What's the deal?? The was totally the best fiesta birthday that ever was. And remember how amazing your cake was? Mmmm...I dream about it often.

Oh, ps, I think you are trying to make me feel guilty for not living there, what with all your talk about loving Evan and what not. :( Trust me, I'd rather be there!

You have been busy! :) Too bad the camp-out didn't go well. I love all the options at that children's museum! No wonder the kids love it there. I wish ours was more like that...
