Since July is almost over I should post about June before I get too far behind. This summer has been fun and very busy. It has been filled with a lot of activities. The month started out visiting with roommates from Utah State. These are amazing women and it was fabulous to be together again!

Tyler and the kids visited the planetarium at the university.

They explored at the nature center.

They also spent some time at the Air Force museum.

We finished up baseball season and appreciated all of the support from Grandmas, Grandpas and Great-Grandparents who were the cheering section.
Kolby had his 11
th birthday.

He celebrated two days in a row and shared a party with his cousin.

Landry is really enjoying the summer. He loves wearing his sunglasses, flip flops and shorts.

We spent a day at the amusement park. The kids are very brave.

We got very wet.

The kids all like to take the rides with no hands.
Kolby received his Arrow of Light and is now a Boy Scout.
Kolby does not like to hug or get too close to anyone. I am the only Mom who gets her pin on her sleeve.

Tyler and I were able to go on an enjoyable hike to a waterfall.

We wanted to do this hike while the waterfall was strong from the spring runoff.

The city view from the waterfall.

It was a great way to spend a Saturday morning.

We have some more kid-less hikes planned for the future.

It was fun to have Tyler's brother Jordan and his family out for a visit from Wisconsin. We feel lucky when the whole family can be together at once.

My Grandma celebrated her 80
th birthday.

We were able to have a party with all of her local posterity.

It was a special evening. I am her first grandchild.

It was fun to visit with my family who I have not seen for a very long time and celebrate our wonderful Grandmother.

All of the kids seemed to enjoy the party.

We bought season passes to the local pool and have spent a lot of time swimming.

Landry became very brave after one visit to the pool. This is his backwards dive off the ladder.

Spending so much time at the pool has been a perfect way to spend the summer.

I was afraid the kids might get bored spending so much time at the pool. It hasn't happened yet. They beg to go every day.

There is a lot of jumping.

Addie loves the slide.

Looks like tons of fun! Loved the pics from Gram Betty's party! It was great to see you guys!
Looks like you've had a great summer. We too have spent lots and lots of time at the pool/beach. I am worn out though, I am ready for summer to be over. We are counting down at our house (Kai's not so fond of the count down, Kaden is thrilled with it).
They start on the 23 of August.
You really know how to pack in the fun!
Fun summer!! These kids sure keep us going huh? I'm sad Kolby doens't have the same teacher as Kaden. I don't think any of his friends are in his class : (
