We celebrated Pioneer Day with a Jorgensen family party at Glendale reservoir in Idaho. This is one of my favorite places to go boating. I have not been there for about seven years so I was excited for the opportunity to go.

Kolby is trying to water ski. His face says it all. Uncle Jordan was kind enough to lend some support.

Kolby managed to get up for about four seconds.

After several valiant attempts on the water skis he tried the ski trainer. After a few minutes riding behind the boat Kolby managed to relax enough to crack a smile. This picture was taken before he gained his confidence and was still terrified. It was great that he was able to experience what it is like to ride behind the boat. Hopefully, it will help him next time he attempts water skis.

Tyler got a couple of good skis in.

Landry had his first ride in Grandpa's boat. I asked him what he thought about riding in Grandpa's boat and this is what he told me. I think that he was impressed.

Everyone really enjoyed themselves.

The kids loved riding in the canoes.

Chris and Trudy's boat crew.

Our nephew Tanner had to be in a boat at all times! He did not want to leave Grandpa's boat.

Eventually, Tanner was agreeable to being on any boat - not just Grandpa's boat. He enjoyed the paddle boat with his Mom (and many others who took him out to paddle around).

Tanner had fun in the canoe with his Dad.

Addie loves to be the flag girl.

Grandma Lynne spent a lot of time paddling the grand kids around the cove. Landry was excited to ride in the paddle boat.

It was a kid's paradise!

Lot's of fun in the sun!

Kolby swimming with his cousin Jared. Doesn't that look relaxing...

Our niece Brinlee was a little fish - swimming everywhere!

This is what summer is all about.
